| Sunday the 14th was rnd 5 of the SRS series, the venue was DRT. With an entry of 70 drivers mixed between buggy & truggy, with some top names racing this was to be a competetive day. The Track was dry & hard packed but would remain dusty all day. For Xray our driver line up was myself, Mark Dell, Ricky Burnett, Jason Dixon with many more club drivers but our new convert to the team was young Elliot Boots. In Truggys was Richard Baker, Simon Freeman & Russel Bailey but to name a few so in both classes well represented. |

| With a short practice most seemed happy on the loose track. Rnd 1 Elliot was unlucky not to take TQ with a blistering run an error would put him 2nd, Bren opted for a steady run & went 4th with mark & the others still getting to grips with the track. Rnd 2 Mark getting in a much better run & into the top 10, Elliot again not getting a clear run but his pace was fast going 3rd & Bren missing the magic 9 laps but 1 second having to re go over the loop after an error but put himself 2nd in round. Rnd 3 with Elliot, Bren Mark & Ricky safe in the A main all pushed on to gain a better grid position, both Ricky & Mark achieved this. |

In Truggys Richard, Simon & Russel had good runs to all make the A main swapping tyres to get the right balance for the final as the track would get dustier & rougher. To the truggy final & the grid line up was Richard 3rd , Russel 5th Simon
9th & Rob Higgs bumping up from the B to 14th & the last slot. With a very tight first turn the normal truggy carnage occured with richard coming of worse but most of the team where well back & had plenty to do. Richard went out early with a Transmitter shut down but the rest kept pluging away. By the 25 minute point the pack was well spread out with Simon
3rd & Russel 4th & Rob moving upto 11th & this is how it would end after 30 minutes.
The Buggys would line up Elliot 2nd, Bren 4th, Ricky 7th, Mark Dell 8th & Mark Tarrier 10th. |

Elliot & Bren got away clean & into 2/3rd , the 2 Marks & Ricky battling in the pack. By the 5 minute point Elliot had made the move for 1st & pulled a comfy gap on lee Martin, Bren had been on the tow of these two when an error allowed Sam Taylor from 4th to catch. After several fuel stops & at the 20 minute point Brens tyres went off so was unable to challange so nursed the car home. Mark Dell & Ricky working there way through the pack for a great finish from them. After a hard fought 30 minute race it would take its toll on the other teams & XRAY would finish 1,2,3.
